Started this blog during the last few weeks of SEM1(AY2014/15) cos' i regained interest in blogging. I blog about anything - news, social issues, music - but mostly about my university life :) Hope my posts will help you to make better life (and module) choices! Currently a Sociology Major. I like her cos she's really smart too! xD She's currently in Crime Scene 2, a korean detective reality show! Some sources say her IQ around 145 hahaha. I like to watch her reactions and replies on k-variety shows. Tomboy offstage; instantly switches to hot-babe mode onstage :D
Okay this is what i wanted to blog about actually:
Today we went to Caffe Pralet for lunch, the service was awesome hands down!! The waiter was really friendly, generous, and really cared for the customers. Even though I waited quite long for my eggs ben but his service made up for it :) Seeing my friend charging using her portable charger, he pointed that we could use his charging point! Also, my friend's meal came first; he saw us waiting for all the dishes to arrive before we eat, so he suggested her to eat first because the noodles would turn hard. And he handed us our cutlery so we could share that plate of spaghetti first and it wouldn't be awkward to watch 1 person eat. "I'll hand both of u the cutlery too so its not so awkward to watch your friend eat la!" HAHAHA.
We decided to check out this cafe because I got a 60 cents deal for their pralet cake from the Sugar App (It's awesome! Loving' sugar's concept. and the cake.)
After I ate the cake, I wanted to pay him, he say "wa you so honest!" The waiter didn't know i had to pay for the cake LOL, he just said, "The app never state, don't need pay lah!" He kinda forgot to key in the redemption code too. He just trusted me when i said i was here to redeem the cake haha! (Please don't try to cheat him ah)
Anyway, I tried their eggs benedict ($12) ! My friends tried their seafood pasta ($? i forgot) and english breakfast($15) set. They're all very healthily made, not oily, with smooth and light taste. and i suspect the head chef loves prawns. The chef gave all three dishes a lot of prawns, as you can see below..
But i'm allergic to prawns LOL, so my friends ate'em.
The hollandaise sauce isn't very strong or thick, so its great for those who don't like thick sauce.
If you love prawns, you must definitely drop by here HAHA.
I wouldn't say its the best, it may be bit bland for some. But i like it this way cos it's healthy!
They're having a 15% student discount for 2-5pax. (if that incentivises you to drop by HAHA)
EXCELLENT Service, Mains' fine, Dessert (Pralet Cake) is great if you're a fan of chocolate. It's just nice, not too sweet, and had a crunchy base. I love it! :) The only con was the waiting time, but the service makes up for it. The waiter really brightened up my day, he's so sincere. I wish all service staffs were like this too!
After that we went bugis to shop!! Lazy take photo of my loots.

In the end i didn't buy, like too mature for me leh HAHAHA

Sometimes I wonder how people see me and what they think of me. It scares me a bit, honestly. I am sure though, that what they think of me,
what they think my life is, is a complete misperception. I have always tried to show myself as a carefree person, as someone who wont get bothered
because of public judgements. I am sure my friend and family think there is nothing going wrong in my life, that I do not worry enough, that
I am always happy. And I am sure they probably somewhat hate me for it because, lets admit it, there is nothing worse than seeing someone
who is life seems so perfect while yours is a complete mess. Truth is, I have become an expert at pretending. I think we are all experts
