Hey there! I just changed my blogskin :) It's a little user-unfriendly because you can't navigate my past posts by headings or hashtags. So i'm gonna update the codings, stay tuned! Started this blog during the last few weeks of SEM1(AY2014/15) cos' i regained interest in blogging. I blog about anything - news, social issues, music - but mostly about my university life :) Hope my posts will help you to make better life (and module) choices! Currently a Sociology Major. Still fresh. xD
Ytd we had our 2nd SOCIP session, and the turn out rate sucks omg, it's still botherin me the next morning sigh. So needa blog this out. It's like a channel for me to scream but not let the whole world know like fb/twitter/insta lol. Hahaha
Anw we had our highest volunteer turnout ever and the lowest kids turnout ever so half the volunteers had to go home earlier T_T
And some of them came for the 1st time, and one even brought assessment bks which we didn't use in the end, SIAN. It was pretty heavy and i think he carried around sch for the whole day eh.
Coordination wise it's partially my fault ba, but it's also hard to confirm the kid's participation :( Sometimes their SIM card no money, so even if they saw your message they can't reply you. For some, you'd have to be patient cos they might just send you a really last-min SMS, parents saying that the kids are reluctant to come. I kinda expected a min turnout of 15~20+ but only 11 came >< (Maybe I should do a double shift here? 10-10?) I just hope the volunteers won't mind too much, i really don't know what they think. I won't assume but i hope they understand :/
On the bright side, thanks ht for volunteering to make a trip over to settle storage matters. And our funding inquiry's approved! And Sat seems good, still doing well in general.
Okay lesson learnt, not much feasible solutions, just accept it and move on.
This is why i hate uncertainties and try to plan everything in advance. But life is full of uncertainties la lol. MOVING ON
And i'm going SGH for my research shift (8hours) today omg......
When will i ever do my work lol
Its okay ams it's a good and really rare opportunity so just let go of your schedule for now. If life goes according to plan, where's the fun?
Wow ams getting good at non-negative thinking
This is a really useful skill luls
It's all a life process la, everyone has their shitty moments, but it's how you handle it, and it takes experience and time, and friendssss hahaha
On a side note, i dreamt that i couldn't get korea for my SEP but i got Auckland instead lol. Which is still cool except i forgot where Auckland is and i googled (in my dream) and Florence came out but Auckland is in NZ and Florence is in Italy (Ijust googled). lol brain pls.

Sometimes I wonder how people see me and what they think of me. It scares me a bit, honestly. I am sure though, that what they think of me,
what they think my life is, is a complete misperception. I have always tried to show myself as a carefree person, as someone who wont get bothered
because of public judgements. I am sure my friend and family think there is nothing going wrong in my life, that I do not worry enough, that
I am always happy. And I am sure they probably somewhat hate me for it because, lets admit it, there is nothing worse than seeing someone
who is life seems so perfect while yours is a complete mess. Truth is, I have become an expert at pretending. I think we are all experts
